Venture Scout Award

This award is intended to provide a balanced programme for each Venture Scout and for the Unit as a whole. The Venture Scout should then use the experience to undertake responsibility within the Unit. To achieve the Venture Scout Award. a Venture Scout must have made personal progress and widened his experience and skill in each of the following areas of personal growth.
Making contact with people within the community having real needs, and work towards meeting those needs, to the benefit of the community.
Undertake one or more of the activities suggestions, preferably with other Members of the Unit. Report your findings to the Unit Executive Committee or a person delegated by the Executive Committee.
Alternative ideas which are not listed here may be undertaken in this section, with prior agreement of the Unit Executive Committee.
Because other people will be involved, often the aged, inform or disabled, before undertaking an activity in this section, do make a personal and collective commitments to complete the project.
Self expression through creative, artistic or design activities.
Undertake one or more of the activities from the list of suggestions, preferably with other Members of the Unit. Present the results of your endeavours to the Unit Executive Committee, or a person delegated by the Executive Committee.

Acquire practical life skills, develop socially, reaching a measure of Independence towards the future.
